When to use Merge PDF
Add the PDF files you want to combine, then move them into reading order before merging. Pages are copied without rasterizing, so selectable text and vector artwork remain intact.
Quality and file size
This combines whole documents and does not edit their contents. Password-protected, damaged, or empty PDFs are rejected. Interactive form fields are also rejected because copying pages would lose the form field tree; save a flattened copy using Print to PDF first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the order before merging?
Yes. Use the move controls next to each file; the merged PDF follows the displayed order.
Will merged text remain selectable?
Yes. Pages are copied as PDF pages rather than converted to images.
Can I merge PDFs with interactive form fields?
No. This tool rejects PDFs with form fields rather than producing a copy with broken fields. Save a flattened copy using Print to PDF, then merge it.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The selected files are read and combined in this browser tab.
